These would date for being crafted in the 1800's and Finding a pair from this age makes them more rare. These are highly decorated with various forms of hand hammered techniques from both the inside and outside of the brass.
The sides of the planters have applied lion heads that hold a solid brass ring from the lions mouth. These lion heads have a gothic feel and are very expressive. The pieces sits up on 3 applied Lion paw feet.

The antique planters measure: 7 inches tall with diameter of 10 inches. While the inside measures: 5.75 inches tall with diameter of 7.75 inches.

These are perfect for matching planters, but suggest the use a liner inside to protect the base from long exposure to water. These are antique and thus have age appropriate wear and as the brass is older it is thinner and shows small denting, with no large ones seen. The inside bottom is a bit wavy but they do sit well. They are polished with some of the antique tarnish left on them to show and highlight the detailing.
