This vintage hand painted adorable bunny rabbit will be a wonderful showpiece on your spring table or sideboard. This is a rare piece and a find for collectors of Italian ceramics. The bunny is crafted as if in a cabbage patch with colorful leaves on its sides and is munching on one of them. The detail is incredible with two tiny snails on the leaves.
This tureen is a reproduction of one originally made in 1755-1756 by the Chelsea Porcelain Manufactory. This reproduction became available at the Winterthur Museum between the late 1970’s and early 1980’s.
The inside of the bunny is marked in raised porcelain and bears the number 21W. It even has its original sticker on the bottom!
