There's a substantial bevel to the glass, showing a good half inch, greatly enhancing the overall beauty of the mirror. The diamond shape is unusual and attractive. The patina is original and in excellent condition -- a deep brown/black, typical of wrought iron finishes of the era.

A classic French touch, a rose on the bottom of the mirror, reminding the viewer of Nature's beauty and bounty.

Dimensions: about 29 by 16, without adding one inch (1/2 in per side) for the loops on the sides which hold the hanging wire. There's one black spot on the lower left (a disturbance to the silvering on the back) which measures about 1/16 in diameter. There are four areas along the left side which have about 4 or 5 tiny black spots each. No scratches on the surface of the glass. See less
