It is made of white Irish linen worked in a damask weave with a pattern of long-undulating stemmed sunflowers near each end. Each of these sunflowers has a largecenter created using an open plain weave design to mimic the seeded center of sunflowers. The central design features small leafy sprigs and those use the open weave technique but on a small scale. The long ends are finished with a three inch self fringe with hand knots. Dimensions are: 43” (including 3” fringe on both sides) long by 21” wide. The towel is unused but has been heavily starched. This is a 100-year old beauty in mint condition. See less
