A vintage original (acrylic) oil creation on canvas of five bicyclists by listed Italian painter Joyce Roybal.
Painting is 20 x 16" H. Frame is 23 x 20" H.
In excellent condition, both frame and painting.
Frame is stamped "Made in Mexico".
Roybal is well known for the whimsical cartoonish child genre paintings known as ‘Puffy People’. The work is signed on the lower right.
It is presented in an exquisite gilded frame with canvas bordered sub frame. Ready to hang.
Artist Joyce Roybal was born in Italy in 1955. His artwork was primarily influenced by Graciela Boulanger, and his subject matter rarely strayed from round-faced children at play.
This gorgeous piece of whimsical art would enhance any child's bedroom or play area, in addition to any contemporary or modern setting.
