Mid-late 19th century pair of coin silver teaspoons by J.T. Young, Petersburg, VA. Fiddleback design. With marks chevron/coin of James Watts, Philadelphia. James Thomas Young, 1825-1892. He had a thriving silver & jewelry business in Petersburg & both made & bought to retail. The monogram "U" probably relates to examples listed in Hollan, "Virginia Silversmiths" which belonged to William Urquart of Southampton County, VA. Bowl denting. 0.80 troy oz.
