This refined Italian coat rack features teak wood panels symmetrically arranged on a brass frame with square-section bars. The upper section includes a protruding shelf, seamlessly integrated into the coat rack’s design. Four brass plates with hooks for hanging garments are affixed to the top wooden bar, while another plate with a hook is positioned lower on the right. The coat rack is designed to be mounted on the wall at the desired height. For this purpose, the back bars are equipped with four pre-drilled holes, allowing for secure attachment to wall-mounted hooks (see photos). This coat rack was crafted between 1968 and 1970 in an artisan workshop in Brianza, Italy, a historic region of Lombardy renowned for its long-standing tradition of producing high-quality furniture characterized by impeccable craftsmanship and innovative design.
