Wonderful watercolor of an English interior of a formal dining room or great hall. The room is decorated with a variety of antiques from various periods of English history, but the interior is still mostly early 17th century Jacobean.
Watercolor on board, affixed to original mat with the artist "Tom Johnson" and "Royal Academy - London - 1911" on the mat. Johnson was likely a student at the Royal Academy of Arts in London, probably training as an architect.
