Philips Wouwerman was a Dutch painter of hunting, landscape and battle scenes. He became prolific during the Dutch Golden Age and joined the Haarlem Guild of St. Luke. - Wikipedia
His work often centers on well articulated white horses.
This unnamed scene is of two riders, a boy, a woman, two saddled horses, and a dog at a wellhead. Restored and with later frame.
