This superb large pot dates to c1890 and is in excellent condition. The silver is bright and clean. The hinge works perfectly. The interior is clean. Very much in the Georgian manner with fine fluted hand-made design. Crafted by James Dixon & Sons in Sheffield, England since 1803. I purchased it years ago from an antique shop in Gloucestershire, in England's charming Cotswolds region.
It stands 12" tall. The width from the spout to the handle is 9" and the base is 5.75" in diameter.
