Extraordinary pair of substantial hand-blown glass table lamps by Salviati. Hollywood Regency period lamps featuring a large swirl or twist form with dazzling gilt flecks throughout. Made in Venice, Italy by a well-recognized Venetian artist with makers label on bottom. Deceptively heavy and solid with original patinated brass hardware and finials in fine working order. Does not include shades as seen in photos. From a historical estate in San Francisco, California. Price is for the pair. Glass measures 19.5 inches high without brass hardware.
