An original watercolor painting “Pigeons in the Courtyard of a Mosque” by the renowned Persian artist Mansour Khaleghi (1939–1999).
The piece is hand-signed by the artist. It comes professionally matted and framed behind glass in a custom carved wood frame with a gold finish.
As a young man in Iran, Khaleghi worked on painting tiles for mosques and holy sites, driven by his deep appreciation for Islamic art. His passion led him to depict historic and religious landmarks. After the Iranian Revolution, he moved to the United States, eventually settling in California.
