This little guy is from Kristin Vedel Wooden Birds, made in Denmark, a mid-century modern Danish wooden toy and design object artisan. In natural and smoked oak wood. Danish industrial designer Kristian Vedel designed his family of birds in 1959, quickly becoming some of the most successful Danish wooden products from the 50s.
This solid oak whimsical bird features a body and free-moving head that can be balanced to create various expressions while the body can be turned upside down to change the shape. Your Kristian Vedel bird is handcrafted in Denmark and comes packaged in a small box, suitable for gift giving.
