Maple Root Burl ‘Radial’ Dining Table With Brass Drum Base in the Style of Stanley Jay Friedman for Brueton.
Showstopper Burl! The bookmatching details at the tabletop are incredible. There’s gnarly veining in the burl that is definitely eye-candy. A geometric inlay at tabletop at corners. The apron is maple edge-work with a stacked bull-nose edge, inlaid with brass strip on center.
The base is three large drums in a brass finish. Base has a wood header. See photos for interior construction of base.
This would be such a beautiful addition to any modern interior. But mostly, this would be most perfect with its matching Sideboard/Credenza and chairs.

See photos and close ups for reference. Drum base has brass finish wrapped around circular drums. Small gap at brass seam where center drum meets edge drums. Partial lifting at one top edge, see close ups for reference. Where brass meets wood header, some adhesive residue is visible. Some surface scratches at tabletop, but they mix nicely into the burl design. Not too noticeable at all. All of our items are used/vintage pieces that have wear consistent with age.
