This vintage metal hammered and etched urn/vase is from the early 1970s. The design of the flowers and vines at the base, and interesting stamping/hammering, along with the large size, bring attention to this piece wherever it is placed. My favorite part are the handles, with the 's' shape and fishtail ends. I am unsure of where it is from, but it was purchased in the 70s at an antique store in Michigan. My guess in perhaps India?
It measures 16” tall by 12” in diameter at the belly, and the top and bottom have a diameter of 7 ¼”
