Noble nautical scene of a small rowboat coming to shore from a larger sailing vessel by George A. Robbins (American, 1918-2010). In the foreground, several men are navigating the choppy seas in a small rowboat, headed towards the viewer. Beyond the rowboat, a large schooner appears to be departing towards the horizon.
Signed "GA Robbins" in the lower right corner.
Presented in a rustic wood frame with a linen liner and a mat.

George A. Robbins (American, 1918-2010) was an artist from Massachusetts. He was a pilot in WWII and found a love of painting after leaving the service. Robbins was a founding member of the Guild of Harwich artists and was well known for his nautical scenes.
