This vintage hand sewn double bed quilt makes beautiful use of several early 20th Century fabrics. Several of the floral patterns may be flour sacks. The backing is green cotton . It is in remarkable and useable condition for it's age. It is at once cozy and beautiful. It's a perfect addition to your collection of antique textiles or a thoughtful gift to bring warmth and history to one's home.
Provenance: includes copy of a tag from another quilt from same family. Believed to be the work of Nell Chatham in the 1920's to 1930's
