Vase made by Les Argonautes, a duo of French ceramists formed by Isabelle Ferlay and Frédérique Bourguet, active in the 1960s in Vallauris, an emblematic center of modern ceramics.
This vase is inspired by the shape of an ocean liner and is made of glazed chamotte clay. The decor, rich and original, combines stylized elements such as veils, characters and abstract motifs, encouraging reverie and personal interpretation. The color palette, composed of browns, greens and ochres, reinforces the organic aspect of the work.
A lack on one side.
