A very rare miniature version of the iconic vase of the Kraka series designed by prestigious Sven Palmquist for Orrefors Sweden in 1954. The name Kraka stems from an old Nordic legend where a gorgeous woman is only dressed in a fisherman's net to meet the king Rolf Kraki. It has a clear crystal glass which surrounds a mesh or net of decoration causing several small air bubbles cased with blue and green glass and overlaid with a clear sommerso glass layer.
Signed with: "Orrefors Kraka ph426 Sven Palmqvist". This is a piece of glass history and is considered to be one of the iconic designs of Scandinavian art glass in the 20th century. What is making this glass so rare is the miniature seize.

Condition
The vase has been utilised and therefor may show age-related trace of usage, there is a faint scratch, yet over all of a fantastic condition and a really beautiful art object. This piece has an attribution mark,
