tall elegant backs with a stepped linear top flanked with scroll, curled ends and ending in tapered shapely legs, branded Saint Etienne, manufactured by M.F. a French manufacture located in Saint Etienne, France.
Overall, the chairs are angular and streamline in form.
In addition to being aesthetic, the top crest is also functional and serves to protect the upholstery from finger prints when handling the chairs.
The dark bottle green tone naugahyde/ leatherette seats and back cushions with vintage nail heads chairs are original.
All chair frames are finished in a dark brown /black ebonized color with a semi- gloss finish.
When viewed in strong light, some wood graining and lighter shading is apparent.
