A metal chain and spring allows the chair to hang from the stand. The sturdy black metal stand has a propeller base for support, with a slot for the curved pipe that supports the chair. The chair may also be supported by a ceiling bolt. The chair, stand base, and support pipe can be easily disassembled to move the unit from indoors to outdoors. The chair and stand may be disconnected for shipping. Maker unknown. The chair and stand are in excellent condition for their age and use. There is some minor paint loss on the stand.
