You remove the striker and ring the bell. Measures 14.5 inches tall x 8.75 x 6 inches. In very good vintage condition with a bit of tarnish to the bell, but I have not polished it at all. This piece comes from a very fine estate where the woman collected lots of rare Hollywood Regency pieces. See less
