Pair Russian USSR HAND PAINTED Lacquer miniature Boxes style of Palekh.
Good vintage condition with some wear along the base.

Clear bright detail of a female/ woman/ maiden figure in a red AND GREEN dress AND A SHEEP. 2nd box is a man/ hunter/ archer/ prince in green clothes in woods.
Featuring clear, bright colors in immaculate detail on a background of glossy black with gold trim, and a dark red painted interior. Excellent vintage condition free of chips, or cracks.
The painting is lovely and illustrates a story beautifully. Gold details are finely done.
Square box with raised round painting feasures 2.25" x 2.25" x 1.5" tall or in centimeters: 5.7cm x 5.7cm x 3.8cm.
