The softcover Pop Art exhibition book is published by Lococo Fine Art Publishers on the occasion of the exhibition at Lococo Fine Art, St. Louis. Lithography printed in The United States in 2008 in an unnumbered limited edition of 1000, by Mulligan Printing, St. Louis, interview by Vincent Fremont one of the founding directors of The Andy Warhol Foundation, book design by Adam Arriola. Andy Warhol ( 1928 - 1987 ) is one of the singularly most well known Contemporary artists of all time. His imagery is recognized worldwide. His infamous life, artworks, and creative endeavors are like no other artist. He is credited as the very first artist to use common everyday objets and view them in a completely different way while paying homage to their role in our society. Glorifying the common as the beautiful. His technique utilizing a silkscreen method combined with hand finishing in a signature palette of vibrant color hues make the work stand on its own and loved by millions.

In addition to his Pop Art imagery and iconic portraits, Warhol was fascinated by love, as shown throughout his works, including his Love Suite which this book presents, and other manifestations of hearts throughout his oeuvre. Warhol examined different phases of love throughout his career.

The rare out of print 1st edition Pop Art exhibition book measures 9" W X 12" H X 3/8" D, with 64 pages. It features 28 illustrations including 18 color plates of Love collages, 5 plates of graphite Love drawings, and a black & white photo portrait of Warhol by Christopher Makos.
