One features a porcelain bowl full of marshmellows and the other showcases a wooden container with fruit and vegetables. Signed lower right. Robert J Smith, 1901-1985. He was active on California and Dayton, Ohio. By 1916 Smith had an art studio in San Francisco. He was part of exhibitions held in Paris, New York and Los Angeles. He was influenced by The Baroque Master's. Also had exhibitions at the National Academy Of Design, Metropolitan Museum Of Art, and The Dayton Art Institute.
