Oil on artists board and framed in natural wood frame, Signed "Day 1957" lower right. Day possibly Virginia Day, a regional artist. The painting depicts a rich deep vibrant yellow colored small boat sitting on the dock of boat yard, surrounded by industrial buildings in the fishing port of Inverness in Norther California. Inverness together with smaller towns along the northern coast of California sits in Mendicino county, like Carmel by the Sea to the south of San Francisco, is a noted "Artists Colony" No markings on reverse.
