"Oh I should have been a cowboy.
I should have learned to rope and ride.
Wearin' my six shooter riding my pony on a cattle drive...." Toby Keith
"Mama's don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys...." Willie Neslson
No matter which side of the debate about the soundness of a career as wrangler you fall on, you will be able to appreciate this vintage oil painting depicting where a cowboy hangs everything besides his hat.
Attributed to renowned Mexican architect and artist Aurelio GD Mendoza (1901-1996), the painting's name translates to "Lost Suit" adding a touch of whimsy to the still life of a cowboy's jacket and dungarees hanging on the branch of a tree.
