A 1986 acrylic painting on paper by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled "Horizon," this work depicts an abstracted landscape in warm oranges, greens, and blues. The painting is unframed and signed to the lower right and titled and dated verso.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
