A 1986 acrylic on paper painting by American artist Harry Hilson (1935-2004). Titled "Mt. Vista II," this work depicts an abstracted landscape in vivid greens, blues and oranges. The piece is signed and dated in the lower right and titled verso.
Harry Hilson was active from the 1950s-1990s. He created a variety of works, including oil paintings, ink drawings, wool tapestries, wax paintings, video art, sculpture, and more. His studios could be found in New York, California, Texas, Georgia, and Florida. Hilson and his wife, Jane, also ran a framing company called Fine Art Inc.
