A set of 3 vintage French teacups and saucers, hand-painted with French Revolutionary motifs:
1. With a medallion of oak leaves and fleur de lys and the words "Vive la Liberté sans License", and on the saucer the "Liberté".
2. With a heraldic emblem topped by a crown on the cup and the words "Vive la Nation" (Long live the Nation), and on the saucer the "La Nation" (country).
3. With a heraldic emblem topped by a crown on the cup, and on the saucer the word "Patrie" (country).
Scalloped border and sides. Marked Saint-Armand, France. The saucer is 5 3/8". The cup is 2 3/8" high by 3" or 3 3/4" with the handle.
