This print is an "épreuve d'artiste" or artist's proof, and was likely made in the 1960s. Beautiful irregular deckled edge on the hand-made paper; would be stunning floated. Rich saturated color and heavily textured intaglio surface. Hélenon was heavily influenced by African tribal textiles. Measures 30' high by 22.5' wide with an irregular border. See less
