Stunning original elizabeth ii silver jubilee english oak and ox blood leather throne armchair
a very good looking well made and decorative piece of art furniture, in the year in which queen elizbeth ii became the longest serving monarch of the united kingdom, i am pleased to be able to offer this rare and superb quality oak and red leather upholstered throne chair, embossed in gilt lettering with the phrase ‘elizabeth ii silver jubilee 1977’. Inspired by the coronation chair in westminster abbey, this chair was made by wood bros ltd of hertfordshire as one of a limited edition of 500.
we have cleaned waxed and polished it from top to bottom, there will be normal age-related patina marks here and there from genuine age and honest use the patina is very nice, the leather in good order, this is a piece of english royal history
