1950s umbrella stand by Mathieu Matégot, France. Very elegant 1950s umbrella stand was designed by Designer Mathieu Matégot. The feature is a pastel green lacquered perforated wire mesh. The base is cast iron with an elegant brass finish, including the handle. Wear and tear due to time and use is present. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
