This flap system takes the name of piano when it is at right angle. More rare, this piece of furniture has an ogee closure. A mirror attached inside serves as a mirror for styling or shaving. The white Carrara marble inside ensures the watertightness of the surface. Earthenware toilet utensils such as the water pitcher, the bowl or basin are placed there, as well as hairdressing and shaving accessories and all perfumes and lotions. This toilet chest of drawers is mounted on casters to make it easier to move. This type of furniture was very successful during the Belle-Epoque, at the end of the 19th century.
