These tough, shaggy little ponies have inhabited these hilsides for millenia and have formed a special bond with the Welsh people. They have worked in the coal mines, carried goods across the country and been ridden through the landscape. Therese James has captured a lovely scene of a little group of horses out grazing in the countryside, their shaggy winter coats keeping out the cold as they forage. This is a really lovely example of Therese’s work.
