For those of you familiar with the wild moorlands and mountains of Wales you will know that they’re synonymous with the countryside. These tough, shaggy little ponies have inhabited these hilsides for millenia and have formed a special bond with the Welsh people. They have worked in the coal mines, carried goods across the country and been ridden through the landscape. Therese James has captured a lovely scene of a little group of horses out grazing in the countryside, their shaggy winter coats keeping out the cold as they forage. This is a really lovely example of Therese’s work.
