This vintage table from Italy features a rectangular-shaped marble top which rests upon an elaborately hand-carved apron with urn accents profiled at each corner, nicely trimmed perimeters about a foliate motif carved center, and front/center plaque with lady figure amongst swords, shields and a winged griffin. A pierce-carved scrolling leaf embellishes the underside of the plaque at table front. This piece is presented upon four robust, flute-carved, square tapering legs with carved leaves wrapping the rounded ankles and feet. Note that the table is un-adorned at the backside so best placement would be against a wall. This vintage Italian table, with marble top and intricately carved apron, is just over 5 feet in length -- perfect for an entry console or server. See less
