Antique Rookwood vase / ewer / pitcher by Olga Geneva Reed, dated 1881, shape 584 size C, W stands for white denoting Iris glaze was used.
Olga Geneva Reed was born in 1873, and attended the Cincinnati Art Academy. She decorated at Rookwood pottery from 1890 until 1909. Her work is found primarily on Vellum Glazed vases. After her first husband died, she married another Rookwood artist, the famous Matthew Daly. Collector interest in her pieces is considered to be above average.
