19th Century Dutch Neoclassical Style Marquetry Inlaid Mahogany Buffet Cabinet
Having a serpentine applied molded edged top inlaid with a central oval portrait medallion hung with double inlaid ropes and tassels joined by bow-knots and rosettes within floral inlaid quarter spandrels, the case having two lattice inlaid aligned drawers above a tambour door compartment enclos- ing one shelf flanked by a lattice inlaid chamfered corners and portrait inlaid side panels hung by double ropes and bow knots and concealing a long drawer sliding to each end, raised on scroll legs.
