An excellent First Edition vintage offset lithograph, print, of still life painting "Fleurs" (Flowers, 1927) by Suzanne Valadon (1865-1938). Comes from a rare First Limited and Only Edition art folio published by Albert Skira in Paris, France in 1947. Signed and dated in the print. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Information regarding the original artwork will be found by lifting the piece. Excellent condition of the print, some age wear the board, never framed.

Suzanne Valadon was a French painter and artists' model who was born Marie-Clémentine Valadon at Bessines-sur-Gartempe, Haute-Vienne, France. In 1894, Valadon became the first woman painter admitted to the Société Nationale des Beaux-Arts. She was also the mother of painter Maurice Utrillo, several lithographs after whose paintings you can find at our Print Shop
