Gorgeous, chic, vintage, mid-century, brass coffee / cocktail table from France, with white marble top and lacquered coating, attributed to … Read more Gorgeous, chic, vintage, mid-century, brass coffee / cocktail table from France, with white marble top and lacquered coating, attributed to and reminiscent of the style of Parisian design house, Maison Jansen, circa 1960's - early 70's.

The rectangular, gilded brass frame with décor, features an ''H-shaped'', geometric design combined with curved edges shaped like the letter ''U'', that have decorative ornaments on either side, and finish with two, acorn-shaped, ornaments at their centers.

The marble top with carved edgings is white with multi-colored veining from pink to grey ( see photos), which in contrast with the golden color of the frame, gilded, decorative ornaments on its fluted legs and tips, really make this glamorous table, a stand-out conversation piece.

Piece is in good, original and vintage condition, with light signs of age and previous use commensurate with time, as well as a patina of time, on the overall structure and top (see photos.)
~ There are some very small minuscule marks on the top ( mainly the coating/ glazing). We have taken 1, closeup photo , next to a 1 cent coin, for perspective (see photos.) as well as an old mark of usage ( ring) barely noticeable ( see photo, next to 1cent coin for perspective). Some areas of faded colors on the metal structure and décor ( See photos) as it can be expected for a piece as that age.

- Table is sturdy, heavy and solid.
- It has only been gently polished with respect to the original patina of time.
- Inner part of the frame has been polished as there was old marks of time, absolutely not visible, when marble top is in place.

A fantastic, timeless piece that will blend perfectly with any given mid-century, vintage, rustic, contemporary or Hollywood Regency decor.
