This Dresden porcelain service embodies timeless elegance and exceptional craftsmanship. Each piece reflects the refinement of the baroque and rococo styles that have made this historic factory famous. Ideal for enhancing your tables or enriching a collection, this service tells a unique story, that of European know-how at the peak of its art.
Dresden porcelain owes its origin to Augustus the Strong, passionate about the beauty of this precious material and inspired by the oriental and Asian motifs created by ceramic painters.
In 1708, Johann Friedrich Böttger discovered the secret of making white porcelain. Under the leadership of the king, a factory was established in Dresden, quickly recognized as the "cradle of white gold" in Europe, before being transferred to Meissen a few months later.
Since 1872, the Saxon factory in Dresden has perpetuated traditional craftsmanship. Each piece, made by hand using centuries-old techniques, reflects the elegance of the baroque and rococo style, a true artistic heritage of the era.
