Oil painting on canvas young man holding a shell
Marchetti sign date 1938 Italy
This portrait, unique in its theme, is a beautiful representation of a young man from before the war. The hand in this large shell inspires a feeling of curiosity and discovery synonymous with adolescence. The colors are specific to this time, pastel and nuanced.
The expression of this young man may seem pensive and melancholic.
This painting is decorative and leaves absolutely indifferent with its charisma
