Paul Klee ( 1879 - 1940 ) The Swiss born Modernist artist is attributed to creating some of the most original and colorful paintings of The 20th Century. Klee was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School in Germany. His work reflects the styles and ideas of Symbolism, Expressionism, Cubism, as well the simplicity of The Bauhaus designs. Artworks by Klee are included in the collections of many of the world's most prestigious museums.

The vintage lithograph print features an artwork image titled " Lagunenstadt " ( City on a Lagoon ) originally created by Klee in 1932. The lithograph print is printed in 1969 in West Germany.
