Due to the very rare … Read more The rare table was designed by Alvar Aalto and manufactured by Artek in the 1930s/1940s.

Due to the very rare construction (legs fixed with four screws, solid connecting piece between the legs and only one tongue in the corner joint of the leaf), it is either a very stable version made especially for export or a custom order.
In order to preserve the intense, warm color and beautiful patina, the leaf was only cleaned, but deliberately not restored more intensively. This is why the table leaf has some signs of use, which in no way diminish the beauty of the table, but rather lend it its authenticity.
