An early 19th century proof, in fair condition but with a very good inking, of the plate "View of the Arch of Constantine". It belongs to the first Paris Edition of 1800-1807. The first edition of the plate dates 1771 ca\. from the Views of Rome by G.B. Piranesi. Ref. Hind “GiovanBattista Piranesi, A critical study” London 1922 nº97 e tav.LII. Ficacci “Giovanni Battista Piranesi the Complet Etchings” Koln 2000 pag.738 nº 968. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker. It has no attribution mark and no
official proof of authenticity,
