This Vintage Chinese Tang Dynasty style pillow form pig shaped censor has a richly varied mottled green and blue glaze can be appreciated more in person. Lots of charm. Measures approximately 14” long x 8” wide x 7” high.
Pigs are a symbol of wealth, good fortune, and prosperity in Chinese culture. The pig is the 12th animal in the Chinese zodiac. People born in the Year of the Pig are said to be generous, diligent, compassionate, and energetic.
