The arms terminate in shallow petal-trimmed cups that resemble candle drip trays. The body and arms of this piece are made of clear, colorless glass. The piece has further detailing of scroll stems, twirling leaf ends, and rigaree trim; exhibiting a masterful flair in glass craftsmanship.

The glasshouses on the island of Murano are famous for highly ornamented glass chandeliers made of pincered and molded blown glass. This elegant chandelier showcases a mastery of glass craftsmanship. This mid-century chandelier is a pared-down interpretation of the ‘Ca'Rezzonico’ style of chandeliers created by Giuseppe Briati in the 18th century. The ‘Ca'Rezzonico’ style is named for the Venetian palace, today a public museum dedicated to 18th century Venice, where Briati’s initial masterpiece resides.
