A vintage porcelain Chinese lidded temple jar. Backstamped to the bottom. Vintage item with an estimated age of ca. 1950. Alternating panels with figures and floral motifs, gilded temple lion on the lid. The jar is 19" to the top of the lion and 9" at it's widest point.
Very good vintage condition with vibrant colors as shown in the photos. There is a 1" long surface scratch on one of the panels as seen in the last photos. The jar does not sit flush to the ground without the aide of the small felt pads shown in the photos.
