Handsome Black Walnut Platter, 14.5" in diameter, by California artist Robert "Bob" Stocksdale. Marked clearly on the underside. Highly figured wood grain. The platter has a shallow dishing on the top surface and a turned foot ring.
The surface shows some light wear from use and age. There are no cracks or breaks.
