This rare stool was designed by Ingvar Hildingsson and produced in the 1970s by his company, IH Slöjd, located in Rockneby, Sweden. The underside of the seat is marked with the designer's initials, "I.H" carved into the wood.
Featuring an organic, curved seat and three bold and sturdy club-shaped legs, the stool is crafted entirely from solid cherry wood, showcasing a stunning and unique wood grain. Beyond its use as a stool, it could also serve as a small side table, adding versatility to its appeal. This particular model, distinguished by its irregular, saddle-shaped seat, is especially hard to come by.
The stool is in very good condition with minimal wear. This piece has an attribution mark,
